They kept me on for a lot longer than usual- late February vs. late December. Co-workers said it was a good sign that I was still there so long after peak. I had high hopes of scoring one of those elusive permanent year-round jobs. They cut me loose and- of course- I’d been getting a little cocky and complacent and didn’t have anything else lined up.
