Moving To Mt. Lebanon. January 10, 2011 / moshimichi. Shower stall in master bath. Look at that tile! Finally, Ava and friends created this masterpiece at CCAD camp last summer. It now proudly hangs in my living room. Larr; Winter in PGH. Tim Murphey’s draconian bill towards restricting women’s rights. →. Julie-Elise Burroughs / Jan 10 2011 2:02 pm. Moving To Mt. Lebanon. October 31, 2010 / moshimichi. Halloween weekend came to Mt. Lebanon. Like Bexley, it is a community that likes to celebrate the holiday. Ava had her party at Markham elementary. There were no costumes or candy there, however. (Wha! Luna as a bee. She seemed a bit sheepish in front of the other dogs. We shopped at H and M, REI, and Joseph Beth Book Co. My button says, I'm not a witch; I'm you! I should've been the one to wear this costume! October 26, 2010 / moshimichi. Market, too...

Moving To Mt. Lebanon. December 5, 2010 / moshimichi. There is a lot to do during the holidays in PGH. Our season began early when the kids and I headed uptown Mt. Lebo. For Light Up Night. We sipped hot cocoa while Bitsy and Bella (the horses) pulled us on a carriage on a tour of Washington Rd. while we awaited the Lebo tree lighting. There we took in a holiday bell concert and watched Santa roar in a fire truck. Phipps Conservatory. Stay out of the malls and explore instead! Winter in PGH →. Fill in yo...

Moving To Mt. Lebanon. Amy greenberg / Jul 29 2010 7:30 am. So happy to follow the W. family’s adventures via your new blog! My late aunt lived in Pittsburgh for years in a book-filled home in Shadyside, as the book buyer for the Jos. Horne Co. I miss those inclines, hills, and great ethnic restaurants. Glad you get to experience them. Dovey / Apr 22 2012 10:08 pm. We are also new to Pittsburgh. Would love to have the contact info of the painters you used. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
Winter in PGH | Moving To Mt. Lebanon
https://movetomtlebo.wordpress.com/2011/01/10/winter-in-pgh
Moving To Mt. Lebanon. January 10, 2011 / moshimichi. Hello my lost and lonely blog! Can you tell it’s wintertime in PGH? I admit to voluntarily going into hibernation through the winter and that means, I have only a few outings to report. My bathroom project consumed me through the darkest and coldest of days. Thankfully, it is now fully complete. We have three beautifully tiled, (no carpet in sight! Bathrooms with working plumbing. I have to give a major shout-out to Snyder Remodeling. In the library i...
Even when you have a GPS….darn Pittsburgh! | Moving To Mt. Lebanon
https://movetomtlebo.wordpress.com/2010/11/17/even-when-you-have-a-gps-darn-pittsburgh
Moving To Mt. Lebanon. November 17, 2010 / moshimichi. Even when you have a GPS….darn Pittsburgh! I did get one small break from bathroom repair bliss last Friday when one of my BFF’s came for a PGH visit. Ms. Carrie and. Ventured down from Cleveland for 24 hours. I love my Carrie and the fun she brings with her! Poo in an inflatable toilet, and getting sugared up. Once returned, we all dined on take out from Sesame Inn. Just like old times, our Chinese take out nights! And found what I thought was the a...
Luna’s Tale | Moving To Mt. Lebanon
https://movetomtlebo.wordpress.com/2013/09/24/lunas-tale
Moving To Mt. Lebanon. September 24, 2013 / moshimichi. For the past several weeks, I have been moping about doing a sort of Charlie Brown. Shuffle through life. I’ve been sad. I’ve decided to write this story as a cathartic measure for my grief. You see, this weekend, I have to say goodbye to a family member, our dog of three and a half years, Luna. Training and placing service dogs. She had listened patiently to my story and immediately offered, without hesitation, to help. As she sees it) USPS. Sh...

https://movetomtlebo.wordpress.com/2011/02/02/tim-murpheys-draconian-bill-towards-restricting-womens-rights
Moving To Mt. Lebanon. February 2, 2011 / moshimichi. Tim Murphey’s draconian bill towards restricting women’s rights. It’s been a long while…yadda, yadda, yadda. I turn to politics of the land of Lebo today. Apparently I am sadly represented by pro-lifer Tim Murphey, (R-18) who has decided it is a good idea to sponsor the bill HR-3, No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act. I urge constituents of Mr Murpehy to contact him; I did. Phone: (412) 344-5583 Fax: (412) 429-5092;. Larr; New Bathrooms. You are comme...
Fall Break | Moving To Mt. Lebanon
https://movetomtlebo.wordpress.com/2010/11/02/fall-break
Moving To Mt. Lebanon. November 2, 2010 / moshimichi. The kids and I decided to pay a visit to the National Aviary. Which is located on the North Shore. It is surrounded by a beautiful area that is the Allegheny Community College. The buildings have this incredible Gothic architecture. Nearby are the Mexican War Streets. Today is election day. It was my first time voting as a Pennsylvanian. This is like a gold star for grown-ups! I am rooting for you both. Larr; Happy Halloween. Amy / Nov 2 2010 5:43 pm.

A blog about books n'at. A Gambler’s Anatomy by Jonathan Lethem. January 4, 2017. January 4, 2017. What It’s About (no spoilers). Destitute and alone, he is rescued by an old frenemy, Keith Stolarsky. Stolarsky uses his seemingly bottomless wealth to pay for Bruno’s medical treatment and much more. This is where things get weird. Also, one or both of them may be telepathic. Lethem is an author that I wish I could be friends with. This NYT article. I have read most of Lethem’s work and I love the wa...
