A blog about books n'at. 2017 Reading Goal #BeatTheBacklist. January 1, 2017. March 1, 2017. I set and met some 2016 Reading Resolutions. I read 62 books last year and wrote about them here. And in various blog posts. And today is January 1st so it seems like a good time to start again. Here goes! This year I want to complete a book challenge, so I picked one that I think I have a reasonable chance of actually completing. In 2017 I am going to #BeatTheBacklist. The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck.

https://booksnat.wordpress.com/2016/11/14/the-bone-clocks-by-david-mitchell
A blog about books n'at. The Bone Clocks by David Mitchell. November 14, 2016. November 14, 2016. The following synopsis is spoilerish, but not terribly so. The Bone Clocks is told in six parts. Each part is narrated in the first person by a different character, except for the first and last which are both narrated by Holly Sykes. It is really her story being told, though it took me awhile to figure that out. This is my 57th book this year. Go here. Posted in Book Review. Fantasy and Science Fiction.

Books Read By Year. 8220;So we were back at the beginning again.”. Middot; by Sasha Martinez. Middot; in Marginalia. Middot; 15 Comments. I don’t know for how long I’ve had Penelope Mortimer. Some books announce themselves with a punch to the gut, some with a sting. Some sneak up on you and take care to embrace you with a numbness that expands as you need it to all the better to prepare you for the sick, sly shock of recognition. Who gave a fuck about my longings? Well, then.). I shall will this to be a ...

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Stieg Larsson – RedHeadedBookLover
https://redheadedbookloverblog.wordpress.com/2015/09/24/the-girl-with-the-dragon-tattoo-stieg-larsson
Just a redheaded woman who is obsessed with books. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Stieg Larsson. Help of investigator Lisbeth Salander, a misunderstood genius with a cache of authority issues. Little is as it seems in Larsson’s novel, but there is at least one constant: you really don’t want to mess with the girl with the dragon tattoo. To my surprise I did and this is because of Stieg Larsson himself. It is very rare these days to fall in love with a novel just from the very first page so that is why ...
