Friday, October 30, 2009. Several classes combined to watch a movie on fire safety yesterday afternoon. This was a good use of the particular kind of technology, but it is shared with the entire school, and would probably be difficult to use consistently. I finished both the midcourse evaluation and the consent form. Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Standard 3: Students will have an understanding of the environment. Objective 2: Observe and describe weather. Observe and describe patterns of change in weather.

Monday, April 5, 2010. I know it has been a while, and plenty has happened since last I wrote. For heaven's sake, my last practicum happened! I had my internship interview last Monday, and got a job! I'll be teaching 3rd grade for Larsen Elementary in Spanish Fork. I cannot believe how excited I am to have my own classroom and my own students and everything. Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Other's Videos and My Oppinions. I got to watch the videos of Nancy, Sam, Keri, Alli, Robin, and Sarah. Some of the concepts were really cut and dry, and didn't seem like they would be very fun for the students to make or watch. There were some videos that had good concepts behind them, and could have been extended even more with the help of the students. There was some real creativity to go into it. Monday, January 18, 2010. Things that make me happy. Reading/ listening to books. Playing with my babies. Visiting the elementary schools. Having dinner with my family posse. Having this winter not be too bitterly cold. Hearing about my best friend's first kiss. Delicious food and being able to eat it. Getting big checks in the mail. Turning in big homework assignments. Accomplishing things on my wedding to do list. A friendly smile at church, since I am the new girl. The idea of teaching next year.
