The next planned openings are:. A life of buildings event. Boone’s Chapel is open to the public 30 days a year. Unless otherwise stated openings are on Saturdays and Sundays, 12.00pm to 5.00pm. Visitors can see the chapel interior and immediate garden. The main almshouse garden is closed to the public. Visitors will also be able to see a series of changing exhibitions on themes associated with the chapel’s history as well as contemporary art, design and architecture.

Boone’s Chapel will be publishing a series of books and pamphlets. Our first publication to be released later this year will be a detailed summary of the first exhibition. Tim Crocker’s. Photographs of the chapel will be supported by commissioned essays on various aspects of the chapel’s and local area’s history. Us if you would like to be informed of the book’s release.

Family property in Cheltenham was called Boone's Chapel Farm and surrounded an acre or so of land called Boone's Chapel. All that remains of the chapel today are a few gravestones, remnants of wooden crosses, a few sunken graves, and a giant old white oak tree that marks one corner of the original Boone's Chapel.
