The old school feel. Class of ’08. 12, July 2008. 3 hours in the convention hall brought me through 3.5 years worth of memories. From the moment i got the letter of acceptance, to the orientation camp, to my awkward YR 1 classes, times in samba and the accompanying late nights. i really hated school at a point but now that it’s all over, i’m left with such a bittersweet aftertaste. The old school feel. Class of ’08. 14, July 2008. Believe me, i’m usually the most unattentive audience whenever there’s a speech. The idealist in me wanted to give a standing ovation for what was being said. The realist in me scoffed at those words. I was taught to treat life situations with integrity but where did it go during the tests in class? Just because everyone else is doing so, it’s definitely too easy to lose myself in it all. A place to share recipes based on the items received in the "Bountiful Basket". Wednesday, May 4, 2011. Essence Chicken and Cheesy Rice. It's been awhile since I've posted on this blog! We haven't regularly gotten a basket during the winter - but we're starting to get them now! This is a recipe I had done long time ago using some things in the basket. It takes some time to prepare - but is so yummy! Possible basket items used: onion, yellow pepper, mushrooms, green onion. 2 1/2 T paprika. 1 T black pepper.
