Bountiful Basket Recipes: Fried Plantains
http://bountifulsurprises.blogspot.com/2010/08/fried-plantains.html
A place to share recipes based on the items received in the "Bountiful Basket". Monday, August 2, 2010. Be careful not to mistake a Plantain for a banana. While similar in look they are far from similar in taste. A plantain must be cooked before consuming. To peel a plantain run your knife lengthwise. Down the peel in several spots (be sure to cut only the peel, not the fruit). Carefully peel it off the fruit. Cut the fruit into 1in. thick pieces. Place Plantains in oil and cook 2 min. on each side.

http://bountifulsurprises.blogspot.com/2010/08/how-to-slice-mango.html
A place to share recipes based on the items received in the "Bountiful Basket". Monday, August 2, 2010. How to slice a Mango. The mango seed runs down the center of the fruit lengthwise. And is very thin. To get the most out of this fruit cut down each side of the pit ( appx. 1 cm from the stem). Slice though the fruit just like an avocado. Avoid slicing through the skin). You can make squares, slices, diamonds. whatever you want! Or you can take a spoon and scrape it out for a salad or sticky rice.

She plays on a team named the "Black Widows" (which she is NOT thrilled with - but since there were more boys than girls on the team and their colors were red and black - they didn't think it appropriate to be named the Ladybugs)! This is her first game - probably the coldest day of the year! Darrin and Alie...

I have had many ultrasounds with this little Scooter! He doesn't like to hold still (hence the nickname "Scooter") and avoided having his heartbeat detected a time or two! my unusual sightings | the old school feel
The old school feel. 14, July 2008. Believe me, i’m usually the most unattentive audience whenever there’s a speech. The idealist in me wanted to give a standing ovation for what was being said. The realist in me scoffed at those words. I was taught to treat life situations with integrity but where did it go during the tests in class? Just because everyone else is doing so, it’s definitely too easy to lose myself in it all. Create a free website or blog at WordPress.com.

Bountiful Success
Helping Other People Encounter Success! Team up with Hu. Taking Action On Your Ideas. January 9, 2015. This is an excerpt from an article that Mark Ford had on a website I came across. I think it is an encouraging story to share. Think about how many good ideas you have had or been a part of in the past, either in casual conversation, in business meetings, or at conferences and trade shows. How many of them did you execute? And how many somehow slipped away? It’s what I call the Ready. Fire. Aim. Peter h...
