Day 128 – Making progress. 5 months – well, almost. April 28, 2012. It’s been almost 5 months since my initial surgery and I’m doing fine! I’m going to Disney in a few days and also on a Disney cruise ship so I’m hoping I’ll be able to walk around the parks and ship. I’ll bring lots of Advil just in case! Tuesday, June 5, 2012. 3 weeks and 5 days. This is the atrophy. The leg of the foot I got surgery on has lost all muscle. This looks pretty bad I know. Sorry. Fixator had dug into my skin really bad! Monday, April 15, 2013. Hi all. I did a two day volunteering thing this past weekend. I was on my feet an insane amount of time. I got a wTer blister. I wore cowboy boots the first day, 8hrs. I wore foam flip-flops the second day, 18hrs. This pic is after all that was over and I removed the top skin. It wasn't full of water. The genus is native to parts of Central America and it's species are found in Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama and Guatemala. It's the only tarantula genus as whole that's protected under the international CITES laws, because of the destructions of it's habitats and pet-trade collection.
