My journey from a brachytoe to a normal toe. Through surgery! Wednesday, August 8, 2012. Surgery went well today. it only took 8 mins! I woke up and my foot was wrapped up as pictured below. I have a little swelling which is to be expected. I have a lil pain when I walk, but its ok. I'm just glad to walk again! My follow up is the 13th. My journey from a brachytoe to a normal toe. Through surgery! Wednesday, June 27, 2012. Its day nine and my toe is still short. I think I need between 13mm nd 18mm. I'm not doctor, but I know this toe is really short. After the lengthening is complete, I wonder how much longer this fixator has to be on my foot because its giving me hell! Monday, April 15, 2013. Hi all. I did a two day volunteering thing this past weekend. I was on my feet an insane amount of time. I got a wTer blister. I wore cowboy boots the first day, 8hrs. I wore foam flip-flops the second day, 18hrs. This pic is after all that was over and I removed the top skin. It wasn't full of water. Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Well I did quite a job on this toe. It blew up last night and I was in some serious pain so I put ice on it and elevated it. I also took an Aleeve.
