Sunday, August 24, 2014. Some heat reprieve in the back yard. We've kept ourselves cool playing outside and eating otter pops. Enjoying the sun and an otter pop. Saturday, September 20, 2014. Today we went on a 1.5 mile hike with the kiddos. This is quite the feat for us. Most "hikes" we have complete with children have been on wide, well groomed trails that constituted more of a walk or pleasant stroll. Well, not anymore! Sunday, April 26, 2015. When we found out we were moving to Oregon, Brad got wind that the Spruce Goose resides in the state. He wanted to make an effort to see it while we were here. In honor of Brad and Christian's birthday, we decided to cross this off the Oregon bucket list last week. As exciting as the crop duster was for us, we had a lot of fun at the Evergreen Air and Space Museum as well. Out camera ran out of batteries before we got to the space building, so enjoy the planes. Thursday, June 23, 2011. A few weeks ago Tara took a trip back east to spend some time with her sisters. She took Melina and left me with the other three. Outnumbered three to one, I had to come up with some pretty good activities. Fortunately, Super Dad came through. I took the kids down to Leo Carrillo State Beach. BTWno one got hurt or went hungry. Her teacher said that she got a little misty right before going on the first time from nerves, but you couldn't tell and she warmed up quickly.
