Wednesday, August 1, 2012. Life as of lately. Houston has been an exciting change. We are not thrilled with the quality of the roads, but now realize with all of the rain why they are so horrible! There are pot holes, and ditches everywhere. The weather is extremely hot and humid, but everyone keeps saying that this summer has been nothing like last year. We will consider ourselves lucky! Life is Bluddy Awesome. McCarrey.Shannon.Kennedy.and Elijah. Thursday, September 29, 2011. Yesterday was the best day ever! After 5 long years of wishing and waiting we were finally reconnected with Kennedy's birth-family! This has a long story to go with it- so hopefully I can relate it without it being too crazy-. She was missing the relationship with us just as much as we have been missing her! We were able to talk on the phone for over an hour and it was absolutely wonderful! That is so awesome!

Friday, August 31, 2012. Kade and I got invited by the Simmons to go see the Astros game with them! William's parents have season tickets with fabulous seats.
