We then headed home for dinner of macaroni and cheese and chick nuggets, the birthday girl's request, followed by some delicious birthday cake. We ended the day opening more presents. Tuesday, September 27, 2011. Aquarium with The Rosenburgs. Genevieve, Anson and I met Max, Stella and Melanie at the Aquarium one morning. My kids loved showing Max around. They loved the interactive pool and the sting rays the best! We've been to the aquarium before, but it continues to be a new adventure every time. Going with good friends makes it even better! Wednesday, March 23, 2011. Tuesday, March 22, 2011. My moms group met at the Free 1st Tuesday at the Dallas Museum of Art. First Tuesday programming is designed specifically for children age 5 and under and their families. Anson had fun in their children's area playing with the dollhouse and people, puzzles, vehicles, books and more. This event was a lot of fun and we'll definitely go back again! Monday, August 29, 2011. Genevieve loves to have her toes painted and every once in awhile I paint them. One day she was bugging me to do it and so I said yes. Anson, being that he loves his sister so much and always wants to do what she does, wanted his toes painted too! So both kids got a pedicure. Genevieve picked a purple color and Anson picked blue. We got there on Friday evening and his younger brother had already set up a tent for us - thanks, Eric! Monday, September 29, 2014. This past weekend, Chris and I went on a fishing trip with his family. His dad, Dan, is an avid fisherman and he invited us to go out on the Deschutes with him to fish for some Steelhead. This was different fishing than I've even done, and I loved it! As it got dark, we all sat at the picnic table and played Apples to Apples by lantern light. You could hear the river rushing just about 50 yards away - so relaxing!
