All Family. All the Time.
The Sheltons:: May 2011
http://brianandtera.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
All Family. All the Time. Thursday, May 26, 2011. Ready or not, here comes summer. Our neighborhood pool isn't open but we seem to always find a cool place to get wet. Here the boys are at the YMCA. Leave it to boys to figure out how to turn a splash park into what looks like a giant stream of pee. So proud. Here they are naked in the backyard. I think this is sweet. Carter has his hand around Cole's shoulder. He's showing him the flowers and trying to tell him which one is what color. Sno cones for snack.

All Family. All the Time. Saturday, September 25, 2010. Carter had his first soccer game today. He was so excited. He's on the Columbus Crew with other 3 and almost 4 year olds. Man was it hot out there today. The game was at 2pm and it was blazing hot. I considered leaving and driving Cole around the neighborhood in the car so he could get some shade and air conditioning. But he really enjoyed running around exploring. Here's an action shot of Carter kicking. The is the "can it get any hotter look".

All Family. All the Time. Sunday, November 27, 2011. We might not have a bunch of commercial decorations but we did have some crafts that the boys helped make. Well, mainly Carter, but Cole was on the sidelines joining in with some glue here or there. These are the finger print turkey place cards Carter made. His letters are so big we couldnt fit "Grandma" or "Grandpa" or "Grandmama". We settled for Char, Terry and G-Ma. Carter holding the big stick for the pretend fire making lesson. Mom and I did most ...

All Family. All the Time. Saturday, May 29, 2010. You know the saying "Kids say the darndest things? Well, I think three years old seems to produce some of the sweetest, funniest, and ridiculous sayings. Here are just a few from the last 2 weeks or so. I said no, longer than that. He said, "4 minutes? I said, 100 minutes. He looked down at his little hands and was trying to put his fingers into an arrangement. And then just looked up and said, "I don't know how to do a hundred! I don't want to go home?

Haebs Family: December 2010
http://haebsfamily.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 26, 2010. Though I have a lot of updates to go back and edit and post, I thought I would start from some of the more recent posts to keep everyone up to date. This one is actually about activities that went on last week, Dec.20-26. One day we went to a pizza parlor with a kids play area:. We made another zoo trip this week, this time with a couple of friends. No matter how many times we visit the zoo, the boys never tire of it. Friday was a day of making Christmas cookies,. I take a lot ...
Haebs Family: Field Day
http://haebsfamily.blogspot.com/2012/05/field-day.html
Thursday, May 24, 2012. May 2nd, Jacob had Field Day at school. He talked about the games and activities he would get to do for weeks in advance. And who doesn't love running with a cup of overflowing water. Water activities are always a hit. How about tossing a water soaked ball with your partner. A little digging for marbles with your toes. I had to leave before the class relays began, but I was glad I came to see my boy have some fun outside. June 13, 2012 at 6:25 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
Haebs Family: Jacob's Last Day of Kindergarten
http://haebsfamily.blogspot.com/2012/05/jacobs-last-day-of-kindergarten.html
Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Jacob's Last Day of Kindergarten. No matter how cliche it sounds, I have to say it. This school year went by so fast! I can't believe that in a couple of hours, Jacob will be home from his last day as a kindergartener! He has grown up physically and emotionally this year and learned a heck of a lot in the process. For the physical. here is Jacob on Day 1 of kindergarten, August 24, 2011. He stood 3'7" tall and weighed in at 42lbs. He stands 3'8.75" and weighs in at 43.5lbs.

Wednesday, December 28, 2011. Just after Christmas, we decided it was time to teach Jacob how to ride his bike without training wheels. He isn't the most confident bike rider with the training wheels on, so I wasn't sure how it would go. They started on the sidewalk, so Jacob could use the grass as a safety net. Much to my surprise, after just 15-20 minutes working with Daddy, he got it. Once he was confident, they moved onto the street:. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Testing out my flip.
Haebs Family: February 2011

Sunday, February 6, 2011. After seeing Jacob ride his bike the last few weeks, we knew he needed a bigger bike. Plus, Luke showed interest in riding a bike as well. So, we made the plunge and bought Jacob a bigger bike. And passed his Lightning McQueen ride down to Luke. Both are thrilled with their new rides. Links to this post. Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Haebs Family: Last Day of School for Luke
http://haebsfamily.blogspot.com/2012/05/last-day-of-school-for-luke.html
Thursday, May 24, 2012. Last Day of School for Luke. Today is the Luke's last day of preschool as a 3 year old. A quick look back:. Here is Luke on day 1 of preschool, Sept. 8, 2011. He was 3 years and 2 months, weighed in at 35lbs and stood 37.5" tall. And today, on the last day of preschool, May 24, 2012. He is 3 years, 10.5 months, weighs in at 38.5lbs and stands 40" tall. And another from today, to really see Luke's "maturing" look (since I couldn't get him to smile and keep his eyes open by the door).
Haebs Family: November 2010

Sunday, November 14, 2010. Continuing to update from the month of November, here are some pictures and an update from the week of Nov.8-14. Luke has been in a gymnastics class at the Y for a couple of months now, and I finally brought my camera to catch him in action. He is actually one of the most coordinated kids in the class (all those early days of climbing helped) and definitely is the best listener (of course, Mommy requires him to pay attention! Are the rest of the pictures from the week. November...
Haebs Family: April 2011
http://haebsfamily.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 4, 2011. Blue Bell and Bluebonnets. Today we attempted a trip to Brenham to take our annual picture in the bluebonnets. Heading out on our trip, we thought the weather was going to be the issue, but as it turns out, the lack of bluebonnets was the problem. We visited a couple of spots we have taken pictures at in the past, but found only a handful of flowers at each spot. Unfortunately, Luke had fallen asleep in the car at some point, so he wasn't in the best of moods for pictures. Of cours...
Haebs Family: October 2010
http://haebsfamily.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 17, 2010. Skills to work on. In keeping with my goal to get at least one blog entry posted each day until I get caught up, here is one from the week of Oct. 11-17. I have recently had people make comments to me on how well Luke speaks for a 2 year old. I haven't really paid much attention, but since both kids talk ALL the time, it makes sense how great Luke's speaking skills have become and what a great vocabulary Jacob has. Luke loves to copy Jacob and sometimes the reverse happens.

Brian and Teagan Rozmus
Brian and Teagan Rozmus. This is our funny-full-sometimes boring-always wonderful life. Monday, June 15, 2009. This time we stayed with Brian's uncle Joe and aunt Ann, who were fantastic hosts. Even left coffee ready to brew for me (oh sweet nectar)! We enjoyed getting to know Nathan's girlfriend, Heidi and meeting Jonathan's family. Everything turned out beatifully for the ceremony and the party that followed - big fun. Glad to be home. Here are some pics. Brian and his siblings: Jay, Nathan, and Claire.

The Sheltons:
All Family. All the Time. Thursday, May 3, 2012. Well - after a long (unintentional) break from blogging, I'm back. And what better reason to start blogging again than the baptism of your baby. This past weekend we drove to Abilene to have Conley baptized. Why Abilene you ask? Normally Abilene is crazy windy, but God gave us a gift of calm winds and weather in the 50s. Yep - in the 50s in late April! Here is Carter at 6.5 months in the baptism gown. And here is Cole at 10.5 months in the gown. When Danny...

Life Adventures of The Riches
Life Adventures of The Riches. Thursday, July 23, 2015. Story of a Diagnosis. Today I've experienced a whirlwind of emotions. And because of this my writing may not be completely coherent or make sense, I am trying to gather my thoughts and hoping that by writing about this it will help. With the pain of my headaches and so I would just "deal". With the random joint pain, and hopefully it would go away. Being a busy mother I did end up just continuing to just "deal". Monday, July 6, 2015. Our pretty happ...
We're Just Sayin'
Wednesday, August 25, 2010. I changed the URL of this blog to www.battefamily.blogspot.com AND I'm debating whether or not to take it private. I'll probably hold off on the latter for now. But, I'll be deleting this blog for good very soon! Wednesday, July 21, 2010. My brother Doug was married to Audrey Tan about two months ago and here are some pictures from the wedding. We're really excited to have Audrey in the family now and we all love her! She's great for Doug! Just a short FYI - it's not easy keep...
Brian and Tess Around the World 2009
Brian and Tess Around the World 2009. A sort of gap year for oldies as we set off on our trip around the world with a small back pack each. Friday, 5 June 2009. Maybe the best part of our trip is staring us in the face and needs saying? But maybe if you want to dip in here are four blogs that might interest you (and we have added a few photos that we could not originally post):. Valentines Day', 15 Feb. Things are different here', 18 Feb. Crossing the Red Sea', 18 Jan. Cursing Kurseong', 10 March. I have...
