Brian in Luxembourg
My experiences as an American living in Luxembourg. Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Back to the Future! OK someone please explain this to me. On amazon.com, I can buy the Mumford and Sons album, "Babel" (which includes my new favorite song. "Lover of the Light") in two ways. I can download the album as an MP3 download (my preferred method) for $14.49. And if I want to go back to the pre-2000 method of music listening, I can buy the CD for $12.85. First of all. why would buying the CD be cheaper?

About Brian Innes Photography. Please use the links above to view my photos. Having a keen interest in walking and cycling it was a natural progression to take up landscape photography after purchasing a digital camera 5 years ago to capture the views while out and about. Having owned a number of point and shoot cameras over the years my current equipment is a Pentax K100D Digital SLR using a linux workstation to process my photos. Talk Photography Discussion forums.
Brian in Oxford
Technically when I post from work, I'm not actually in Oxford, but whatever. Friday, September 07, 2012. Yes, yes it is. Tonight's dinner is a bowl of baby spinach, with crumbled bacon and shaved Romano cheese on it. Then I get to watch the crappy Red Sox play out the string against Toronto. And think about covering the swimming pool for the year. See? I come back for the first post in 2 years, and it's boring as hell! Saturday, June 19, 2010. History is a series of conquerings. Oh well, I'm no economist.
Brian in PNG | Adventures in Papua New Guinea
Adventures in Papua New Guinea. The Waghi Valley is an extensive valley in the heart of the highlands of Papua New Guinea. The Valley, and the river after which it is named, extends from the middle of Chimbu Province in the east to just past Mount Hagen of Western Highlands Province in the west. I don’t honestly know whether the correct spelling is “Waghi” or “Wahgi”. Kudjip Station with gardens in the foreground. So what am I doing in Kudjip? Well I am soaking in PNG, learning more about a lot of differ...

October 10, 2014. The organization that I am corrently contracting with is under going a reorganization. As part of this reorganization some new architecture positions are being created. I have been asked to consider applying for one of these positions. Are you a software or database architect? Do you love it? Did you used to be a developer? Was the move the right decision for you? I would love your feedback. April 18, 2014. But it could have been so much worse. It could have broken the front windshield.
