Orange is the new Green-Pas Deux. March 24, 2017. As we get from rhetoric to real numbers, some bigger questions begin to be raised. So as I said last time, there is plenty of good regulatory news potentially there is also plenty of baggage that comes along with it. As we see with everything in government today, there has to be a middle ground. Hopefully all egos can be kept in check and greater solutions can be found that protect the good while eliminating the bad. Simple, right? February 10, 2017.

Don't TRID On Me! February 01, 2016. So we are seeing all sets of positioning and posturing as to the effect of TRID on our industry. There are those who are saying it’s a non-event to those who have shutdown certain products or even taking new apps while they figure it out. Many of those who smugly said no problem! Are finding out they weren’t doing it right when they go to deliver their loans. Thank God we aren’t in the spring market or in a refi boom! But wait aren’t either possibly around the corner?

Mo Steak and less Sizzle, Please! June 21, 2017. There are not many days over the last years that we have seen potential borrowers get turned down because we thought they were being underserved by all the product options available today. Sure there are a lot less options then there were 10 years ago, but we are more comfortable that these current options meet their needs AND keep them in the house long term. After a prolonged han. Is this what we really need our industry energies going to? Increasing the...

15 August 2008 @ 07:56 pm. Well I am back in Darmstadt for the final countdown. Ryan and I had to come back on the 14th to give a presentation to Schmidt-Walter which went well. I got about 14 credits in total for the project, so I am happy. So after scrambling to get everything together (it was 10:30, the office closes at 12) I got everything into Ryans room and I will be staying with him over the weekend. It sucks that a few bad apples ruin the whole thing for everyone. 11 August 2008 @ 04:04 pm. If no...
