RIA Client and Server. Pressing Pause while Compile, Dammit Ramps Up. Posted by Brian Kotek at 9:34 AM in General. I know that my blogging here has been sporadic. And I'm not alone: a number of my colleagues were in the same boat. So Joe Rinehart, Nic Tunney, Marc Esher, Scott Stroz, Todd Sharp and myself have decided to pool our resources. We've started a group blog called Compile, Dammit. There are no comments for this entry. Pressing Pause while Compile, Dammit Ramps Up. Exploring ExtJS with DeftJS.

RIA Client and Server. Swiz 2.0 Beta, Now with AOP! Posted by Brian Kotek at 1:11 PM in Flex. In case you missed it, the Swiz team has made Swiz 2.0 Beta available. It includes the much-anticipated Aspect-Oriented Programming (AOP) features that have been in the works for a long time. AOP is incredibly powerful, and having done a lot of work with Spring, ColdSpring, and Spring.NET, it is hard to overstate the potential impact of AOP for Flash. I also want to give a shout out to Maxim Porges. Posted By Br...

Journeys of a designer/developer. Thursday, September 11, 2008. New ColdSpringFramework.org Site Launched. The eagerly awaited, fresh new ColdSpringFramework.org. Site is now online! It was somewhere around CFObjective this year that I heard the ColdSpring team was being pestered for a new site (well, long before that - but that's when I got serious about it) so I finally hunkered down and did the design I had promised Chris. Long ago, then finished the HTML/CSS at CFUnited. Kurt Weirsma.

What I want in ColdFusion 11. Friday, June 29, 2012. Posted by Marc Esher. ColdFusion 10 recently shipped… congratulations to the Engineers, Product Managers, Evangelists, and testers. Great work. It’s time now to start planning for CF 11. Herein I offer my unsolicited advice… a wish list, if you will. I want to code in Groovy. I want safety by default. I want a Grails-like framework. I want Package management (plugins). I want GPars or Akka concurrency. I want a console. What I love about CF. For me, CF...

Tech Blog for www.pctechsos.com. May 4th, 2016. Hat is the different between Mbps and MBps? One is megabits, the other megaBytes, with a capitol B. Both refer to data transfer speeds. 1 Mbps = 1 million bits per second. 1 MBbs = 8 million bits per second. Typical Comcast cable modem speeds can be 25 Mbps = 3.125 MBps. A typical older model wireless G router = 54 Mbps or 6.75 MBps. USB 2 = 480 Mbit/s = 480/8 = 60 MBytes/s. USB 3 = 5000 Mbit/s = 5000/8 = 625 MB/s. DVD quality = 8 Mbps. HDTV = 27 Mbps.

Mo Steak and less Sizzle, Please! June 21, 2017. There are not many days over the last years that we have seen potential borrowers get turned down because we thought they were being underserved by all the product options available today. Sure there are a lot less options then there were 10 years ago, but we are more comfortable that these current options meet their needs AND keep them in the house long term. After a prolonged han. Is this what we really need our industry energies going to? Increasing the...

15 August 2008 @ 07:56 pm. Well I am back in Darmstadt for the final countdown. Ryan and I had to come back on the 14th to give a presentation to Schmidt-Walter which went well. I got about 14 credits in total for the project, so I am happy. So after scrambling to get everything together (it was 10:30, the office closes at 12) I got everything into Ryans room and I will be staying with him over the weekend. It sucks that a few bad apples ruin the whole thing for everyone. 11 August 2008 @ 04:04 pm. If no...
