Bringing home to the city. Sunday, March 31, 2013. Granjan and Pop Celebrate 40 years of Marriage. My Mom and Dad celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on March 31st. All of the kids threw a surprise party for them at my sister Ellen's house before they departed Atlanta on a 4 week cross country tour. I am so happy for them and to be able to celebrate the wonderful love they have for one another. I am grateful for their example of what true love is all about. Daddy and 'Big El'.

I posted more on Facebook. We did so many fun things, like:. Dug for buried treasure. Visited Blackbeard's Tattoo Parlour. Pinned the eyepatch on the pirate. I'm so thankful for those who have served on our behalf. I turned cartoons on this afternoon for Gavin while I was in the shower. When I got out, I wondered why I didn't hear anything (usually that's a bad sign in this house). But thankfully, this was why. At mom's last night, Gavin came into the kitchen all dressed up. Wednesday, 28 December 2016. Russian Pelmeni and Tomato Lentil Ragout. Russia (and also Ukraine and Eastern Europe in general) is no exception to this rule. Pelmeni are bite size dumplings, filled with ground beef typically, but I prefer ground chicken. For a quick weeknight supper, I prefer to use the handmade pelmeni by Marina's Cuisine. So, I figured I'd post again, to make sure everyone knew we'd gotten home safely, after an exceedingly long day of travel. Because God makes everything beautiful in it's time . . . Wednesday, November 29, 2017. Just this week, our medical missionary and myself were called to a small shack in our barangay at the end of a muddy road. What greeted us as we entered the small hut was a woman about 30 years old, bound by her hands and feet and almost non-responsive. The CT scan revealed some anomalies with the brain and we informed the family this young woman would need to be admitted to the hospital for an in depth blood chemistry.
