Our Journey So Far. Thursday, August 13, 2015. YepIt's been a while. It sure has been a while since I have updated my blog. To say the least, it has been a busy few months. So much has changed and happened that I am mainly going to post pictures so you can see what has been going on here. These will not be completely in order of how they happened, but at least I got them up here finally. Donny for Ed. :D. There are horses down the road from us that Lydia named Rainbow and Flower so we visit them often.

Our Journey So Far. Tuesday, March 18, 2014. Winter, Winter, Winter. We returned to Chicago from Anguilla the second week of January. Little did we know that it would be one of the coldest and snowiest winters in the history. Lucky us! I don't think people will understand how cold and snowy it really was without pictures to prove my point. I didn't take many outside because it was below zero most days, but I did take some through the window. :D. School, School, School. Lydia liked to help me with school).

Our Journey So Far. Monday, August 25, 2014. August has been a great month! It has flown by, but we have had lots of fun. We celebrated our 4 year anniversary on the 7th and then two weeks later Erin and Becca came this week to visit us. We had so much fun exploring the island together and chilling at the beaches. Our Journey So Far. Saturday, February 7, 2015. Glad to be home! Drew and I are both in our hardest semesters, but we are taking it a day at a time and getting through. He had his first block exams last week. I can't believe it has already been a month since we got back. Back to the Beach. My poor kid was bored from not learning enough and fast enough. Sunday, October 26, 2014. What Keeps Me Smiling. Mariah and I have been playing a lot of hide and seek lately. But she hasn't quite grasped the concept. When I start looking for her she shouts, "here I am mommy! And the majority of the time she is in the exact same place (the closet, though that is an improvement from her old hiding place: sitting in the middle of the room). When she has to look for me she shouts, "Mommy where are you? A couple weeks ago she was telling Tanner and I all about her muscles.

Sunday, May 24, 2015. As a Farmer/Rancher's daughter I really try hard to be grateful for "moisture". But these last two weeks have gotten real old. Especially with toddlers. Thankfully Mariah and Chet both have rain boots so we still get outside a lot. They are pretty soaked by the time we are done, but the smiles and long naps make it all worth it. I love when I can capture moments like these.they're rare but oh so sweet. Chet ate it that day, but it didn't seem to slow him down. I need my violin back!

Sunday, January 18, 2015. After our wonderful time in Pittsburgh we set out for the long long drive to Nevada. Mariah and Chet did really well. The one night where I accidentally booked a hotel in Rock Springs instead of Laramie they had a pretty big melt down.
