Saturday, December 19, 2009. We have already had more snow this winter than we had all of last winter! Its about 30 degrees out and kind of windy but great for snow playing! The boys were outside by about 9:30 this morning! I think our favorite thing to do was tackle each other in the snow. I love the smiles on their faces here! I started to build a snowman but then Nolen climbed on top of the snowman's body and it was more fun to run around and tackle each other anyway. I love Max's face in this picture!

Thursday, February 18, 2010. Nolen Smith - Winter Olympics 2022. Tuesday, February 9, 2010. Here is a video that Edward took of me and Max sledding down the hill. Sunday, June 28, 2009. What Did You Do Today? On Wednesday I took the kids over to the Navy Rec Center on Solomon's Island. We still have MWR privileges for another year so we're gonna use them. The Rec Center is awesome. The pool has two water slides that are too big for my boys and a pool that is the perfect size for them.it ranges from 1 1/2 feet deep to 4 feet deep and its surrounded by lounge chairs for moi! Monday, September 9, 2013. We had another great weekend! I'll start at the beginning. Saturday we made waffles and then headed out early to get to the music store before it turned into (a really crowded place). Max chose to play baritone this year. Fourth grade is the first year they can choose a wind instrument. Nolen hasn't played anything yet but told the music teacher he wanted to play flute. I'm not sure how he came up with that! Sunday, May 9, 2010. Because of the wind, I made an executive to open presents after all the kids left. It was WAY too windy to do it outside, and again, I didn't want the kids inside. I recently read in a magazine that its not rude to do so and its much easier than trying to keep 12 kids from jumping on top of Nolen while he's trying to enjoy opening his gifts. Saturday, October 24, 2009. Monday, October 12, 2009. On Sunday I took the boys to the Farm Life Festival. It wasn't quite what I expected but it was a nice time and a beautiful day so we certainly enjoyed ourselves. Nolen was most interested in how much money the cotton candy cost. Monday, September 9, 2013. Sunday we headed out early again, well early for a weekend! Ed has been sailing once or twice a week lately at the Downtown Sailing Club in Baltimore.
