Tuesday, August 31, 2010. So, it's been awhile.a. Whilesince I have had a chance to blog. On July 26th medical school started, and my life ended. Okay, not really.but I will have to say that school has been a hundred times more time-consuming than I had ever imagined. I've always been told you can't fathom it until you have experienced it, and now I can truly appreciate what those people meant! I have no doubt all this hard work is going to pay off one day, but it sure is stressful right now!

Tuesday, July 6, 2010. Moving sucks. I have always hated it.and it's not just the fact that I am moving from the third floor at Creekside to the third floor at my new apartment (Dad was. Excited when he discovered this); moving is always a bittersweet process, and this one will be no different. I am really excited about moving to Birmingham. Here are a few things about Miss Maddy that we have learned:. 1 She doesn't mind flying home to visit Alabama. 2 She now weighs 9 lbs and 12 oz. 3 She is sleeping about 5-6 hours at night most of the time. 4 She didn't mind getting her Hep B shot in the leg. Dad planned a hunting trip for the family. None of the girls had ever been. It was kind of scary at times.I thought they were going to shoot me! We survived and the best part of the hunting trip was the amazing supper at the hunting house. I would go back any day just to eat! We are so excited! Dustin, Beth and Maddy. Sunday, July 27, 2008. Our last week was so sad in Bella Union! On Thursday, our new church family had a going away party for us. We told them not to but of course they insisted. They cooked us chicken and french fries! They were all so sweet! It was hard to leave, but I´m glad to be going home. We came back to Lima today.back to civilization! HA HA I´ll be in sweet home Alabama on Friday afternoon! I just want to say thank you so much to everyone for all the love and prayers!

Leave The Light On. Monday, November 10, 2008. A Trot Through Wales. Saturday and Sunday we went on a tour to Wales. We boarded our bus Saturday morning after stopping at the nearby Starbucks and awing at all the Christmas decorations they have out. I think it's so early to have Christmas things out already, but I have to remind myself that they don't have a holiday like Thanksgiving here in between Halloween and Christmas.
