The Theler Five: Of bike rides, blood, and staples
http://thelerfive.blogspot.com/2008/10/of-bike-rides-blood-and-staples.html
Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Of bike rides, blood, and staples. Status: Canning grape juice from the mounds of grapes someone gave us. Song: "Whispers in the Dark" by Skillet (because it's Ian's favorite at the moment). This blog post is rated PG (due to graphic content). If you are a child, please check with a parent before reading on.*. Warning: Crochety old lady sentiment coming up. But don't worry, I will repent and reform on the helmet issue. And here's the story. Sunday evening after dinner we decide...

The Theler Five: Boston Marathon Report
http://thelerfive.blogspot.com/2012/04/boston-marathon-report.html
Wednesday, April 25, 2012. So, a week ago I ran in this little race called the Boston Marathon. I promised details, so here you go. Awesome vacation with the family in NYC and then Boston, where we used almost every transportation method available (plane, taxi, foot, subway, bus, shuttle, train, amphibious vehicle). Check. Increasingly nervous checking of the Boston weather forecast as every day the predicted temperature got higher. Check. Third email from Boston Athletic Association telling us again (in...

Bird's Eye View: June 2011
http://bdurham.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
June 28, 2011. If you asked Colton who is best friends are (and if he could actually speak), he would probably tell you Bob a La. That's Bob and Larry. You know. From Veggietales. Colton loves them.and now he loves that he can hug them and squeeze them and take them for walks in his baby doll stroller. Thanks Grandma Louise! June 17, 2011. I'm sure that someday Colton will realize that my alarm clock is not actually a phone, but until then he's been having some really great conversations. June 15, 2011.

May 12, 2012. Guest Post from the Boys. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I originally started this blog (before blogging was popular) because I thought the world would be better for reading my thoughts and opinions on life. It turns out it is hard to come up with those on a regular basis, so instead I decided just to write about my very happy little life.with thoughts and opinions occasionally interspersed. These two are my favorite. Being Mormon makes me really happy. Guest Post from the Boys.

Bird's Eye View: January 2012
http://bdurham.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
January 23, 2012. I think that Brian's individual features are completely different than Colton's. However, in comparing the two, I would say in Colton's words, "Hey, look! And while we're on the subject of family resemblances.maybe it isn't just Grandpa Cole that Colton looks like! January 05, 2012. Here is my photo essay, which I will entitle, "We did cool stuff this year." The pictures should prove it. Sometimes we take pictures of someone other than Colton! On the way back to the car, Colton decided ...

Bird's Eye View: Some things never change
http://bdurham.blogspot.com/2012/09/some-things-never-change.html
September 19, 2012. Some things never change. Of haircuts in that time. You'd think he'd have calmed down about it by now, but I just had to share with the world have far we have not. Colton was a little bit chubbier at 7 months, but I'm pretty sure the sentiment was the same: "Why are you doing this to me? I thought I could trust you. Why would you submit me to this? Make it stop RIGHT NOW! Whoops.I am not anonymous, just distracted by a little tyke who wants to type on the computer at the same time.
