http://everydaymegan.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 9, 2013. I'm trying to incorporate more fruits and veggies into my life, and less gluten. I read that I should be having a green, leafy vegetable every day, plus 2 more servings of vegetables, plus 1-3 servings of fruit.yikes! I eat fruits and veggies, but definitely do not get that many servings in a day. So, in addition to eating a banana every morning, I've pulled out the ol' juicer and am trying to use that to help me out. I've been getting my recipes from here. A couple of my staples:.

Wall to Walton: October 2010
http://jasonwalton.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 26, 2010. Head into the Heavens. The first spur we followed off the main trail was to Skylight Cave, shown below. It was very reminiscent of a scene from Temple of Doom, in case you can't tell from the picture. And in the second picture, the dark little dot on the cave ceiling is a bat. I thought it was cool to be right next to a sleeping bat. We got 15-20 feet away from her, with her staring right at us, and another doe walked casually up and joined her! Sunday morning Trenton read to u...

Wall to Walton: January 2010
http://jasonwalton.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 29, 2010. Change, and that's typically more quickly than I think is possible. Life slips away in these times. I try desperately to press pause, stop time, get space and figure things out, to make sure I get it right before letting the clock keep ticking. But even Tetris turns the screen black when you press pause; you can't stop to plan your next move. What a boring game that would be, anyway! We started training for the mini-Marathon a week and a half ago. These 2- and 3-mile runs ar...

http://everydaymegan.blogspot.com/2013/04/chef-ryan.html
Tuesday, April 30, 2013. My cousin Ryan will be a world-famous chef one day. In the meantime, family gets to enjoy all of his masterpieces.like this one - the birthday cake he made himself. How beautiful is this, and how scrumptious does that homemade marshmallow-like frosting look? Trust me, it was to die for. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Brown and Bloggin It.

Everyday Megan: Hilton Head
http://everydaymegan.blogspot.com/2013/04/hilton-head.html
Tuesday, April 30, 2013. As you might remember from a previous post. My siblings and I surprised my dad for his 60th birthday in November by planning a family vacation to Hilton Head. We took the trip in March, and it turned out even better than we could have planned! The house we rented in Sea Pines was gorgeous, even better than the pictures online made it out to be - we were pretty amazed! It had a heated pool and hot tub as well, with a lagoon right behind it. Bike rides - the highlight of the trip!
