http://brownandblogginit.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Brown and Bloggin It. Sunday, July 31, 2011. After a fun day of swimming with my parents at their house today, we came home and wanted to grill out for dinner. At our house, the first step of the dinner process is to have a drink while planning/preparing. Scott made us these delicious drinks- blackberry vodka lemonade with mint:. While we were enjoying our cocktails on the deck, this alien bug tried to land on me:. I don't know what this is, but it definitely came from another planet! The tutorial said to...

Brown and Bloggin It: Day #7
http://brownandblogginit.blogspot.com/2012/07/day-7.html
Brown and Bloggin It. Friday, July 6, 2012. Today started off with a fabulous lunch at Pure Food and Wine, which is a vegan/vegetarian restaurant. It was amazing! For using only raw vegetables and no dairy, they really did a nice job of having very creative and versatile dishes. You really don't miss the meat or the dairy because the flavors were so good and well balanced with acidity. Scott and Holly won for the best salad, which was a sesame salad with cabbages, carrots, daikon, and wasabi. I was surpr...

http://brownandblogginit.blogspot.com/2012/07/day-4.html
Brown and Bloggin It. Sunday, July 1, 2012. Woke up today to another muggy Manhattan morning. Whew, it is so hot here! Lunch today was at Jean Georges. A thousand words could not describe the swanky opulence of the restaurant, or the mouthwatering decadence of our phenomenal meal. I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves:. My trip to NY is complete. I can go home right now and be totally happy. Best day here so far. And it's not even 6:00! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Taste for Life!

Here are all the rest:. Well, not all of the rest. Underneath are all my tennis shoes and house shoes. But it was not a pretty sight, so I didn't want to take a picture of that unorganized mess. Not that my Winter shoes look that much better. But, this is how they look after 6 months of use. Now, here are my Summer shoes:.

Staring at the Wall: July 2009
http://jdurlauf.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2009. I am about one week away from one of the biggest changes in my life. After over twenty seven years, I’m leaving Louisville. It’s true, I lived in St. Louis for about a year in college, but I always knew I was coming back to Louisville. This upcoming move includes no such promise. My heart is coming through my throat. As the future’s staring at me and present becomes the past. So many years this has been my home. But it couldn’t last forever and now it’s time to go away. But I will...
