Monday, March 23, 2009. Finally, at 39 weeks and 2 days, I can say that we are finally ready for the arrival of this baby! We've picked our pediatrician, gotten the car seat installed and inspected (which involved a fun 3 hour visit to the local police station), the 1/2 nursery is ready for him to move in and my hospital bags are packed. Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Then Tuesday was Inauguration Day, our first while living in the DC area. It gets so crazy out here that the bridges from VA to DC were shut down to traffic and most people get the day off of work. We watched the inauguration from the coziness of our warm bed and didn't feel bad about it at all.
