Thursday, May 14, 2009. This week I had one of my favorite moments in Thailand. I woke up yesterday morning thinking about my sweet little friends at the government orphanage down the road. I've seen these kids grow up over the past 3 years. They were in the baby class and now they're almost on their way to kindergarten! If you look in this precious girls' hand you'll see a sunflower seed. My job for about an hour was cracking open these seeds for four of the kids. It was loads of fun. Can you believe it?

Sunday, March 22, 2009. Strollin' on the Falls. Most waterfalls in Thailand are SUPER slippery and dangerous to play in. But, this one comes from a cold-water spring that consists of calcium. covering the rocks in a limestone shell. The limestone allows you to climb straight up the waterfall, even with the water rushing downstream. It was so fun to jump around in fresh, clean water.
