Brute Force

http://bruteforcec.blogspot.com/2012/06/intensity-and-suffering-intensity-is.html

Brute Force "RAW FORCE. No tactics, no games, no drafting, no excuses". Saturday, June 9, 2012. Intensity is relative. Suffering is relative. Don’t we all? Be he was also motivated by the results to work more ‘intensely’ and ‘suffer’ more in the upcoming months. I’ve thought a lot about what intensity means since that time and will summarize a bit of my philosophy here. Most of the time, I think pre-determined HR ranges and work loads are too constraining to reach that level of intensity anyway.

Brute Force "RAW FORCE. No tactics, no games, no drafting, no excuses". Tuesday, April 24, 2012. It’s funny to see all these comments about Nate! I train with Nate year round, I know him better than anyone. B-Horn, I saw how low his weight was at its lowest if he would have kept it down he just may have been unstoppable. Then what would the naysayers have said? Keep up the good work B-Horn, you may be one of the few out there that truly believes that he does it fair. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Brute Force: Training For Rockwell

http://bruteforcec.blogspot.com/2012/06/training-for-rockwell.html

Brute Force "RAW FORCE. No tactics, no games, no drafting, no excuses". Sunday, May 6, 2012. A typical Training Ride done in the months before RockWell Relay. (Click on picture to view larger). Cold morning ride, Jared had the searches out the quickest way to gain 7000k of climbing. I think I may have underestimated this climb. 7000 Feet of climbing in 21miles? Brute Force "RAW FORCE. No tactics, no games, no drafting, no excuses". Monday, June 11, 2012. I have done the Rockwell Relay now 3 times. I can honestly say this was by far the hardest. Red Rock Racing Team: One word, WOW, I raced 9 of there riders in LotoJa a few years ago. June 18, 2012 at 9:55 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Superior Firepower. Supreme Conditioning. Brute Force. Friday, March 28, 2008. Intensity is relative. Suffering is relative. Don’t we all? Be he was also motivated by the results to work more ‘intensely’ and ‘suffer’ more in the upcoming months. I’ve thought a lot about what intensity means since that time and will summarize a bit of my philosophy here. I think too many cyclists claim that other riders are better than they are simply because they’re more genetically gifted. That’s hogwash!

Juggernaut Cyclist: September 2007

http://juggernautcyclist.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html

Superior Firepower. Supreme Conditioning. Brute Force. Tuesday, September 25, 2007. So here are the basics:. For the base work I'm keeping my HR at around 65% of max (ie. 125 bpm) to hopefully gain a bit more metabolic efficiency, while not overworking (which will just tempt me to overeat). On Saturday mornings, I'll do between 3-4 hrs of mixed training and with the same lower HR. My total base hours will be around 10 hrs. I'll detail more as the weeks progress. Wednesday, September 19, 2007.

Juggernaut Cyclist: November 2007

http://juggernautcyclist.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html

Superior Firepower. Supreme Conditioning. Brute Force. Friday, November 2, 2007. The Specificity of Cross Training. Here’s the bottom line question then: How much “cross training” versus “specificity training” should be included in training to achieve the highest and most efficient gains in cycling? If choosing specificity, should you avoid all lower-intensity riding because it’s not specific enough? 2 The holistic approach to “balance” and working complementary muscles or performing impactiv...3 Some ty...

http://juggernautcyclist.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html

Superior Firepower. Supreme Conditioning. Brute Force. Wednesday, October 3, 2007. Ramblings about intense training during the off-season. This begs an interesting question. Why do I continue with high-end fitness training during the off-season when my target events are 10 months away? Don’t I need a period of low-end base training or mental freshness to restart my training year? 8221; Doesn’t the obvious response to this question apply year round? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Ballistic Hornet: I'm going on a Sabbatical

http://ballistichornet.blogspot.com/2008/05/im-going-on-sabbatical.html

Monday, May 19, 2008. I'm going on a Sabbatical. What this blog has meant to me. 1 It was a nice way to show the appreciation to my fellow teammates and competitors. 2 It was a way to have fun. 3 It was a way to keep in touch with old and new buds. I really enjoy racing and announcing. it's a hard sport, but a pretty simple one also, if you love it hard, it will love you back- don't, and you will reap the consequences of your lack of preparation. anyway, that is all I have to say within the. Well, we may...
