Saturday, January 10, 2009. The car was plugged in all night and was charged enough to get me to the dealership this morning. I called to get an appt. I'll be a bit poorer by tonight, but I'll have a car with a new alternator, new belts, and new breaks. I asked him if he was sure there wasn't anything else. He said, "That's it.". Wednesday, May 7, 2008. The Word of Wisdom. Mormonism's naysayers love to poke at polygamy, theosis, and other seemingly "easy targets". There are, however, a few harder targets that you rarely hear them talking about. One of these is the "Word of Wisdom", or the Mormon "health code". You've probably heard about it, Mormons don't drink Coca-Cola (wrong). It's main points are:. Don't drink alcohol (it's for washing our bodies). Don't use tobacco (it's for bruises and sick cattle). Monday, December 29, 2014. So youre thinking about getting shoulder surgery. It's early spring of 2013, still cold outside, but supposedly the right time for trimming my crape myrtles. The more tired I am, the lazier I get, and not wanting to move the ladder. Reached too far out to the right and tugging on the loppers, felt a stinging pain shoot up through the middle of my shoulder. Options: (1) Do nothing, (2) Physical therapy, (3) Surgery. Monday, June 2, 2014. The closest local sawmill is going out of business, so I picked up a few of the nicer looking boards I could find. Nice, of course is relative, almost all the wood had been sitting outside, so it looked pretty rough. When I got it home, I ran it through the planer. On the left is what a couple of the boards looked like when I bought them, on the right is after the planing:. Quite stunning. They'll look even better with a few coats of finish. Sunday, December 28, 2008. I am in San Diego. Yes, lucky me! This is a great way to spend my Christmas vacation. We (my Mom and Dad and I) left Utah the day after Christmas. We woke up to 8 inches of snow that had fallen after going to bed. We couldn't leave until we had cleared the driveway and my car off. Thursday, October 8, 2009. I just love my students and my class this year! They are so much fun and I'm loving my teaching style and interactions with the kids. It's just working for me! I don't know if that makes sense. The last 2 days have been parent/teacher conferences. These are very long days for me and I am so exhausted, but I love talking with parents. They were so kind in saying that they kids are loving school and loving learning. What more could I love to hear as a teacher. I love my fiance!
