Just another WordPress.com site. Monthly Archives: April 2010. April 30, 2010. The other night, I had the opportunity to sample a traditional Maine vegetable: the fiddlehead. Basically, it’s a baby fern. But where eating baby cows gets you called cruel and inhuman, there’s no such stigma against eating baby ferns. Mainers … Continue reading →. April 29, 2010. Just another WordPress.com site. Monthly Archives: December 2009. December 31, 2009. I read an interesting article in the New York Times yesterday on procrastinating pleasure. Just another WordPress.com site. Way Too Busy Wednesdays →. June 8, 2010. I wrote the review for my library blog. And thought you all would be interested in reading it, as well. Enjoy! Would I regret spending the money? I’m quite the gadget junkie, and I didn’t want to look back a month later on my purchase and wonder why I’d been so stupid as to fall for the advertising. Even with all that hesitation, I took the plunge and bought one. Not really. With the single exception of homestarrunner.com, ...You c...

Monday, June 2. What a whirlwind these last three days have been! We were up at 5 am on Saturday morning and didn't get to the hotel until 5 pm But all in all, we had a fairly uneventful trip. Bryce was the absolute model passenger on both flights. Mostly he made friends with the people within view of him, slept and snacked. I couldn't have hoped he would be any better. Truly. We're finally all settled in to the Homewood Suites now and today was Bryce's first day back at the Conductive Learning Center.

Ravings of a Semi-Coherent Mind. Jun 16th, 2010. Heading Over to Blogger. Livejournal friends, the time has come. I've been with LJ now for over three years. More than 750 posts, total. But LJ has never really done that much for me. I've never been in love with the interface- and I really dislike how little control I have over how my blog looks and is laid out. Thus, I'm ditching Livejournal for Blogger. Where you'll get all the same scintillating insight and wit, just in a different layout. What I mean ...
