Saturday, December 13, 2014. Kevin Crossland Awarded Eagle. Family and Friends Celebrate at New Hope Church. Kevin Crossland (center) and all Eagle Scouts recite the Eagle Pledge. Kevin Crossland was was awarded his Eagle Rank on November 22, 2014. Family and friends enjoyed a carefully planned ceremony at New Hope Church in Powell, where Kevin and his family are members. BSA Troop 185 Dublin, Ohio: Cost, Obligation

What does it Cost? Troop 185 doesn't collect weekly dues from our Scouts. Boys pay $75 per year. Part of the fee goes toward BSA registration, subscription to Boy's Life magazine and the remainder to the troop treasury. Boys can offset their dues by volunteering at troop fundraising events which include volunteering semi-annual triathlons . Special camping trips like the Klondike, Fall and Spring Camporees require a separate fee to cover the costs of camp rental and activities. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Thursday, June 11, 2015. Scouts Enjoy Geocaching Hunt. Triathlon volunteers earn geocaching merit badge. As they waited for the grueling duty of helping the HFP Triathlon at Deer Creek State Park, Troop 185 Scouts learned about geocaching. Scouts hunted for and found hidden objects by means of GPS coordinates. The scouts had to track "The Travel Bug" which showed where a council patch was located. If the bug was there, the scouts were able to tell where the patch was located. Dublin, Ohio, United States.

Saturday, December 13, 2014. Brendan Murphy, Brent Lewis Manage Service Projects. Brent Lewis and scouts clear brush. Brendan Murphy and a small band of fellow scouts, family members and his dog Sid Vicious designed and built a covered community message board in Shawnee Hills. The completed project can seen right behind the Shawnee Hills Police complex, off just off Dublin Road.
