I was dreading homework, the routine of getting them to bed and not to mention getting them up in the morning. (Which Josh does not get up easy). Friday, September 13, 2013. Despite our vines bended in half from a wind storm, we had quite a good crop of snap peas! Our garden this year was interesting one, we couldn't get the squash, zucchini, or pumpkins to grow. I was able to get some raspberries, and 1 small tomato. The birds got to the raspberries before we could taste them. Looking back on my 1st garden I wish that we hadn't had such great success. I know that sounds funny.19 pumpkins now none. Friday, July 12, 2013. My dad's ward has a Father and Sons camp out. Josh went this year with Dave. He had a blast! He rode a mechanical bull, rode a horse, had a race with Popsicles sticks. What a fun time he had! Maggie and I had some girl time! WE played lots of games, ate junk food, put on make-up, watched a lot of Power Ranges RPM. We had a fun time. This year, he went to a local chess tournament in which he won 4 out of 5 of his games and won a 3rd place trophy for his age category.
