Wednesday, July 6, 2011. Happy Birthday Dear Ashlyn! We have been talking about little miss schmutz' birthday for months! Every time we would pass party decorations, go to a friend's birthday, or see a toy that Ashlyn wanted, we would talk about how "maybe" we could do that, get that, for her party. We ended up doing a "strawberry" themed party - and it was a lot of fun! We had wonderful friends, great food, and plenty of princess accessories! I love my little 3 year old! Sunday, January 29, 2012. We were excited to be able to spend Christmas with family this year. Ashlyn, especially, loves spending time with her cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. She has a pretty special bond with each and every one of them. So we were very excited that everyone was able to gather in Utah to spend Christmas Eve together as one big family. Megan was extra excited! It was wonderful - everyone did a great job! Megan did a great job as Mary, especially in taking care of the little baby.

Sunday, June 26, 2011. This past memorial day was spent over at St. Edwards Park. which is almost a second home to us, since we are over there almost every sunny day. But this time we went over to spend lunch with our ward. It is so fun to be able to socialize with all of our friends out side of church. Ashlyn was especially excited to see Sue (pictured above) and. We enjoyed a delicious filled feast, and an active game of ultimate frisbee! It ended up not being sunny, but at least it didn't rain!

Monday, October 17, 2011. It was so sunny and warm the first weekend in October, so we decided to enjoy the sun outside at a local pumpkin patch! Ashlyn had a lot of fun riding the pony, riding the hayride, and riding the tractor pulled cow ride;. But the highlight of the trip was, most definitely, going to the patch of pumpkins and picking out a huge, heavy "daddy" pumpkin. But, by golly, it was time to finally bring home a "daddy" pumpkin. Thank you Dyer family for coming and pumpkin patching with us!
