Tuesday, March 25, 2008. If not, what do you think about prekindergarteners, kindergarteners, or first graders using technology? Oh those teachable moments you gotta love them! I love the idea that a child asks a question and you were able to answer it and SHOW them pictures. I find myself sometimes searching for the perfect book to answer questions. I am doing a unit on the rainforest this month and the children have many webkinz animals that relate to the rainforest. Tuesday, February 19, 2008. A blog is not just writing. So they are reading and then responding to each other and reading each others posts and comments. I believe however, that sometimes students need to read a book at their level for pleasure and not always have to think, respond, and talk about their books.
