Tuesday, August 2, 2011. Many of the things we need can wait but the child cannot. Right now is the time. His bones are being formed, his blood is being made and his senses are being developed. To him we cannot answer 'Tomorrow'. His name is 'Today'. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Burmese Daze

Monday, August 18, 2008. Back at the Blog. OK It's been 10 months since I posted anything. It's not that nothing has happened here since the government crushed the monks and the protestors; I just really lost the stomach for it. Then came Cyclone Nargis and the government's craven, larcenous, callous response to it and I got very upset and depressed at the whole situation. More later; I just want to get this out there to re-start my blogging habits. Posted by xuanzang @ 7:07 AM. Ten Days of Turmoil.

Burmese Daze | Travels in South East Asia

Travels in South East Asia. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. About me and my blog. April 29, 2014. Cars and vans queuing to be ‘cleansed’ during Thingyan in Yangon. After the cleansing we decided to go and dirty ourselves again by having a final beer before our month of enforced temperance offshore. Due to the festivities, virtually no bars or shops were open so we headed to Paddy O’Malley’s Irish bar at the Sedona. Except on public holidays. What’s in a name? April 20, 2014.
