Magna Carta in the Cathedral. Magna Carta in the Cathedral. The Magna Carta was on display in the Cathedral’s Treasury which was opened to the public showing many of the historical artefacts from the Cathedral and the Borough that relate to Magna Carta and the history of the Abbey and the town. In addition to the display of historical documents and treasures, the Borough also put on display the Olle Centrepiece which shows the shields of the barons one of the treasures owned by the Borough.
