Bushwalk Track Notes: Glen Dhu Rivulet

Track notes on bushwalks, mostly in Tasmania. Beyond the Collins Cap track an old regenerating fire trail is used before picking up a marked route down to Glen Dhu Rivulet. Track notes on bushwalks, mostly in Tasmania. Various routes can be taken to Davis Lookout. The most direct crosses in a rough line from windy Moor to Davis. A longer an interesting route initially follows the track to Mt Field East and then descends on the northern side of Mt Field East and crosses the snowgum woodlands and heathlands. This is a delightful walking area close to Lake St Clair and can be completed as a day walk, but to get the most from it, three days are ideal. The country is in the doleri. There was some sun during the drive to the start of the walk, but soon after starting a high cloud cover took over and remained that way for the remainder of the day.
