But We Suck at Cooking. A blog dedicated to cooking fiascos. Saturday, January 24, 2009. This isn't so much of a cooking disaster, but more of a long term fail on my part. The problem is powdered sugar. Specifically, I have this mental dysfunction such that whenever I walk into a grocery store, I suddenly find myself thinking "Hmm. I think we are out of powdered sugar. I better get some more.". I don't know if there is a cure for this disease. But if you need to borrow some powdered sugar, let me know.

If you do so, the pan of brussel sprouts will slide towards the back of the oven and flip over. The problem is powdered sugar. Specifically, I have this mental dysfunction such that whenever I walk into a grocery store, I suddenly find myself thinking "Hmm. I think we are out of powdered sugar. Saturday, September 12, 2009. Amy and I are celebrating our one-year wedding anniversary this weekend. Though we have a couple things planned for the weekend, we decided to go on a hike to Discovery Park. In Seattle. I had never been and our goal of going there last week was complicated by cougar problems. We left the apartment around 8am, swung by Cafe Besalu. For some killer French pastries and then the hike was on. And boy did we hike:. In a larger map. The main leg ended up being over nine miles!
