I originally wrote this brief because it was an event that I went to last year but i felt there wasn’t really any promotion for it; the only reason I knew about it was from doing research before hand and coming across by chance. Final Major Project: Re-printed type booklet

As mentioned previously, I wasn't happy with the cover of the bookley because the title wasn't clear enough - so I made it more simplistic;. I then re-printed the inside of the booklet on better stock and hoped that it would all line up better. There is still a slight misalignment - but its not nearly as obvious or in your face as the other one, so I'm a lot happier with this one. Labels: Brief 7 - Handcrafted type. NYC Pride - Pop up card. One of the big things that I looked at throughout this brief was pop up pieces - and I can't believe I left it so late to produce my final NYC pride pop up piece. The intention behind it, is that it would be sent as a keepsake/thankyou piece to each organisation that signed up to march in the event. I have chosen to stick with the website that I set up a while ago - I know how to use it and update it fairly easily, its easy to navigate and it has the information that it needs. There were some tweeks that I wanted to make to it, that I have done and although they may have been small, I'm much happier with it now. Mark Howe Portfolio surgery. When I was signing up for this, I was pretty nervous because all I could think about was that I didn't have enough work.or enough Good work in my portfolio. I chose to speak to Mark because I has previously been to his talk that he'd done back in November and in addition to the fact that his design practice was kind of close to mine, he was also really enthusiastic and knowledgable. OUGD301 End of Module Evaluation. Final A2 Boards for submission. As I, unfortunately, don't have an empty gallery to hang any prints.I chose to mock one up as well as I could. The cards at the bottom are a mock up of what they Could look like as a set, possibly sold at the exhibition. However, firs impressions count and my first impression wasn't great. I tried quickly making type out of my drawings to see how it would look. I tried quickly vectorising some of the pens to see if this would 'add anything'.
