Many things that made me smile and many many things that made me cry. It was a very tough year, tougher than many know but because of my wonderful family and because of Christ love, I have made it through and feel that I am in a better place to start 2012. Why do I know I'm a runner now, because when I downloaded my watch today and looked at my total for the week, I immediately started thinking: "Only .03 more and I would have had 15 miles for this week. Ok, that means I've got to put my running shoes back on and go do 1.03 and make it 16 miles.". Well what kind of runner would I be if I did that?

I am realistic enough to know that not everyday over the length of my career would be that awesome, but it sure was nice to feel like that is the culture I was hired into. On the road again; Caching Places We've Never Been. Tuesday, October 21, 2014. We drove the .2 miles only to find a tiny Taco shop. Well, we managed to do our laundry among the weird tattooed, drugged out guys that sat on the floor while we kept feeding the dryers quarters. We took the sweaters and the comforter back to the RV to dry. It was a nice quiet evening eating our leftover chicken soup and French bread to sop up the broth. Links to this post.
