Back to the blog. Sample and Test Knitting. Dirty Panther on the Coast. For the first Camp Loopy. Project, we had to incorporate something we’d like to “Spy” on vacation / safari. I already had the pattern in mind, Coast Starlight Shawl by verybusymonkey. When I was browsing the yarn the Dirty Panther colorway of madelinetosh tosh merino light. Jumped out at me. Sure, I’m not at all likely to ever see a panther on the coast, but it could be pretty cool. July 3, 2015. July 4, 2015. Little Hats, Big Hearts.

Back to the blog. Sample and Test Knitting. Another book started and Sweater Opposites. Another week, another book, and unfortunately not because I finished The Secret Place. I would consider picking it up again at some future point, I just couldn’t get through it in a week. I had also grabbed Dark Places. From the library and I am really glad that I did. I loved Gone Girl. And thought Sharp Objects. And the other is top-down in a DK weight on US4s. And can feel the itch of cast-on-itis:. July 8, 2015.

Doing Something! | As Kat Knits
http://www.askatknits.com/2017/01/02/doing-something
Jan 2, 2017. I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re doing something. Neil Gaiman. When I look back on my goals for 2016. I had some winners and I also had some losers:. Organization also got left behind in the dust of “doing other things” –...I did wel...

ten months later – a little crafty nest
http://alittlecraftynest.com/knitting/ten-months-later
March 23, 2016. After ten months of knitting (a little here, a little more there), the Danish Tie Wrap Shawl is off the needles and on the shoulders two sets of shoulders, that is! However, I do find a few moments here and there which amounts to maybe fifteen stitches at a time, usually. Someone else has spied this shawl…she’s giving me her best big smile to see if we can share…I do believe she’s a little hard to resist, this girl of mine. Joining Ginny and others doing the Yarn-Along, here. I’d sa...

Knitting Off The Grid: It's Time.................
http://knittingoffthegrid.blogspot.com/2013/08/its-time.html
Knitting Off The Grid. Living Off the Electrical Grid While Creating a Small Knitting Business. Thursday, August 29, 2013. As much fun as having a blog has been, it's time to really focus on my small business. Fall is just around the corner which will mean a lot of socks will have to be made. And I'd like to spend more time designing, too. There's just not enough hours in each day. I will continue with my Etsy and Ravelry stores, so you can always stop by to see what's new there. Two Cables and a Frapp.
