Thursday, August 15, 2013. Camping at Pearrygin Lake in the Methow. After driving from Cashmere to Winthrop we unloaded at the campground. This year we were situated against the hill. Last year we were closer to the lake but this was a fine spot. The ground was wet from the thunder storm the night before so we had muddy shoes that first day. Maisy and Cassy were watered and tied down to the picnic table.couldn't let them loose! It was such a short tether that later Kent strung a longer run for them.

November 2010 | Three Legged Goat Race
http://threeleggedgoatrace.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Three Legged Goat Race. Wednesday, November 17, 2010. It's been two months since my last race and I haven't done much of anything! It actually felt good to not have to train, to not have to figure out the logistics of getting to and from an event and to not have to coerce someone into running with me. Maybe I was just burned out.9 events in six months might have been overdoing it a bit much for my first year running/biking/swimming. The second time I went on a Tuesday, I only stayed for 30 minutes or so&...

Simple Garlic Greens | Three Legged Goat Race
http://threeleggedgoatrace.blogspot.com/2011/03/simple-garlic-greens.html
Three Legged Goat Race. Tuesday, March 8, 2011. The Clothes Make the Girl. You need: greens, olive oil, fresh garlic, salt, pepper, a lemon wedge. 1 Wash the greens. Remove any tough and/or thick ribs, then roughly chop or tear the leaves. Don't dry the leaves; you want that water for steaming. 2 Heat a large skillet and throw in about half the greens. Stir 'til starting to wilt, then add the rest. Put a lid on it! During this process, you may need to add more water – bonus! Labels: Clothes Make the Girl.
