At Pookie's hockey game when, on two different occasions, one of the kids on the opposing team dove head first at Pookie's knee-level in an attempt to stop my son from carrying the puck up the ice. How about removing him right now? I was FUMING MAD! And had to muster up every ounce of self-control not to blow a gasket at the women. My baby just got hurt! Umm even if the kid in their care didn't mean to hurt Bugaboo, there was no apology? From the boy or the adults? Do I just leave?

Tuesday, August 31, 2010. We had a blast this summer. Here are some things I want to remember:. Sprouty learning to walk with confidence. Our trip to Whistler; cycling through the Lost Lake trails with Jan and Blaine, sans kids; Pookie's excitement over watching trucks at work and eating ice cream. Pookie loving to ride his trike. Our trip to the Island; both kids loved being outside: in the water or at a playground. Making time to read. Hearing Pookie's speech improve and all the amusing things he said.
