Words of Wisdom: Pure Bliss
http://jtwilsonfamily.blogspot.com/2014/07/pure-bliss.html
Quilts and Projects Journal. Saturday, July 26, 2014. Spending a weekend with girls can be just what the doctor ordered. Well, that and sewing! Even their mom got in on the sewing. She made two pillowcases as well as learned how to hem some sheers that she had accidentally purchased about 16 inches too long. Then, they would look in the mirror and model for us. They were SO very different than my boys that I'm used to who won't even try on whatever I've made for them, such as PJ pants or a vest. The girl...

Words of Wisdom: July 2012
http://jtwilsonfamily.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Quilts and Projects Journal. Sunday, July 22, 2012. I have a Pinterest folder titled, "Favorite Places." The only picture I have in the folder is one of Bear Lake. I love Bear Lake, Utah/Idaho! It's where I got my very best sun burns. It's where I probably caught my first and only fish as a child (with my Grandpa Fuller). It's where I enjoyed sleepless nights in a tent with my sisters (sleepless because we were SURE a skunk had entered our tent! Lunch at the Paris Grill in Paris, Idaho: Cheesy Fries and ...

Words of Wisdom: September 2012
http://jtwilsonfamily.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Quilts and Projects Journal. Sunday, September 23, 2012. No trick-or-treaters from our house this year. Our youngest is growing up and wants to have a party instead. I'm happy to oblige, since all the treats typically brought home seem to tempt and derail me from eating a healthy breakfast and snacks for weeks on end (all that chocolate is just too tempting). Bread Stick Twists (Pizza Factory). 1 ½ cups hot water. 189; tsp. salt. 1 T instant yeast. 3 ½ - 4 cups flour. 2-3 T melted butter. Combine water, ...

Quilts and Projects Journal. Quilts and Projects Journal. 33: My sister and I pieced a quilt while I visited her in Missouri. We got the fabric at Missouri Star Quilt Company in Hamilton, Missouri. What a fun shop(s) to visit! 32: I helped a friend with a graduation quilt for her son who is totally into music. Love how the quilting turned out, the border, and how the sashing between blocks really sets them off! 27: Square Root (pattern by Gigi's Thimble, fabric is Moonlight Blooms from Connecting Threads...

Words of Wisdom: October 2011
http://jtwilsonfamily.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Quilts and Projects Journal. Saturday, October 15, 2011. We've been very busy since school started. Unfortunately, we really get into watching the performance, so we forget to take pictures. This year's theme is Africa: Ceremony, Song, and Dance. They do an amazing job, and percussion has taken 1st place at two of their competitions! No, this isn't Bryant. This is actually a picture of our neighbor who is now serving a mission in Africa. Cross country prepared him for hard work in Africa! I think I'll go...

Words of Wisdom: August 2013

Quilts and Projects Journal. Tuesday, August 20, 2013. From Blog to Print. I printed Jaret's mission blog in a book. I like how it turned out. It looks sort of like a high school year book, but it has every single letter he sent to us for the entire two years. I placed all of our letters to him in sheet protectors and put them in a binder. Words of Wisdom: April 2014

Quilts and Projects Journal. Saturday, April 19, 2014. I know Kaysen is barely in this picture, but I love the determined look on his face. You know he's going to get the ball! Here was the view from our deck one beautiful spring morning. . . Sam is a little nervous to cast her line. She thinks she'll hook someone. :) Here's Jaret showing her how to release the line as she casts. Alas, all we caught was seafood salad. But we still had an amazing time! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
