On Falling Upward...: February 2006

Thursday, February 23, 2006. A Prayer for my Enemies. Almighty and tender Lord Jesus Christ. I have asked you to be good to my friends,. And now I bring before you what I desire in my heart for my enemies. If what I ask for them at any time. Is outside the rule of charity,. Whether through weakness, ignorance, or malice,. Good Lord, do not give it to them. And do not give it back to me. You who are the light, lighten their darkness;. You who are the whole truth, correct their errors;. Tender Lord Jesus,.

Monday, January 30, 2006. Love tells me I am everything. Wisdom tells me I am nothing. And between the two my life flows.". This is one of my many struggles in life. This quote seems to represents my recovery from trying to do it all myselfwalking in the creative tension between being the all-powerful Creator of my every experience, and being absolutely nothing, the humble recipient of God's grace. Posted by Adam Brennen at 5:55 AM. Monday, January 16, 2006. IiiiiJust want to Fly. If we follow him, it wi...

Friday, March 17, 2006. The joy that comes with making healthy choices to love God, myself, and others is it's own reward; the wretchedness that comes with making poor choices to blame, envy, hate, hide from, ignore, indulge, injure, insult, or judge harshly is its own punishment, and nothing more makes any difference or is needed.". All minds are joined. Whatever thoughts we hold towards others we are holding about ourselves as well.". Because everyone's standing right in front of you! Especially when y...

On Falling Upward...: November 2005
http://adambrennen.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 28, 2005. My apologies for the blogging break hopefully I can sit here each day this week and think of something insightful and beautiful to say that I haven’t heard five times already. Not only is America trying to kick God out of school (as the cartoon on the left portrays), it is trying to kick Christ out of CHRIST-mas! Recently, Lowe’s has started calling C. And complain. As a Christian, I will not sit idly by and watch my surroundings go to hell. I will fight to protect and r. Ooook...

On Falling Upward...: April 2006

Thursday, April 06, 2006. This true life I keep searching for in God seems so counterintuitive and not rationalat least to my sinful nature. But it does make sense; it does seem rational when I am still and listen for truth. Here are a few truly rational thoughts:. In giving, we receive. The last will be the first. The consumer is consumed. You really have to let go to hold on. We find our strength in our weakness. In embracing our sorrow, we find our joy. What are some others? View my complete profile.

On Falling Upward...: October 2005

Friday, October 28, 2005. This makes so much more sense of why Jesus waited 4 days to raise Lazarus. This story is full of wisdom. More posts to come on thoughts from this story and Jewish stuff. Posted by Adam Brennen at 8:21 AM. Friday, October 21, 2005. It seems so easy to love the people more that can help further our own kingdom. But as Christ-followers, we are both blessed and cursed to see only souls. Would you pray for me? Posted by Adam Brennen at 5:43 AM. Sunday, October 16, 2005. I’m not using...

Thursday, September 29, 2005. The Walk of Passion. I sit here looking at the life a godly man. This guy was passionate about furthering, not his own kingdom but, the Kingdom. He was a contemporary of Jesus. This man was full of faith and full of the Holy Spirit. He didn’t just have a little faith or some of the Spirit. He was full of it! I want that passion for God’s Kingdom! They are afraid of seeing and experiencing his awesome transforming love. God help us. We need the passion you walked with. I don’...

Tuesday, December 20, 2005. Did you know spending some time in the sun can actually be therapeutic and relaxing and afford us healing? Now that is a lesson we can learn from the eagle. The Word of God tells us to be like the eagles. You see, eagles do not eat any thing dead only fresh live meat. Occasionally the eagle takes something into his system that is taintedif he does it makes him sick causing his body to become contaminated and he could die. A story shared by a man who is living the experience.
