Venue Survey

http://cambridgelibrarygroup.org.uk/surveys.html

CLG-A society for those interested in books, libraries and information. One of the great features of this group is that we hold meetings in a variety of interesting Cambridge locations. However, the CLG committee is finding it increasingly difficult to secure low-cost venues. Please help keep the membership fee low by telling us about suitable meeting rooms in your institution. If you can help please fill in our venue survey. This is available as an online version. Thank-you for your help.

Tuesday, 15 April 2014. Gwen Raverat talk by Frances Spalding - 3rd April 2014. A few weeks ago CLG met for a lively talk by art historian and Newnham College alumna Frances Spalding on the subject of the artist Gwen Raverat. Wednesday, 18 February 2015. Storytelling and selkies with Gillian McClure. Image reproduced by kind permission of Gillian McClure. It was fascinating to hear about the creative process involved in formulating a character and a story. Sometimes a story could begin with a simple image – like a hen nesting in the tail of a fox ( Flood. 2014) or a line of sticks in the sand ( Selkie. 2010) Sometimes a story could begin with a friend recounting the antics of a kleptomaniac cat ( Tom Finger. A bit about me. What I've been reading. Friday, 15 June 2012. CPD23 Thing 7, revisited. I'd hoped to be able to go to the CPD23 networking event in Cambridge yesterday, but unfortunately Rory needed our car in the evening, so I'll have to settle for writing about Thing 7 instead! I've not blogged about any of the Things so far this year, as I'm still using them in pretty much the same way as before. However since last year's post. I joined the Cambridge Library Group. Cambridge Library Collection Blog | Heritage Books, selected by scholars and carefully restored for readers worldwide

Cambridge Library Collection Blog. Heritage Books, selected by scholars and carefully restored for readers worldwide. March 20, 2015. Alas, and thrice woe (from my point of view anyway), this is my last ever blog for the Cambridge Library Collection.
