A South African in Yellowknife. Wednesday, January 31, 2007. I just went through a whole pile of pictures that Dad copied onto my computer when they were here, of all their travels and things since I last saw them. So not only am I feeling quite homesick, now I need a gajillion dollars to travel with (and never work unless it's for fun! Anyway, I just picked two pictures from when they went to Namibia, I think in 2004. The donkey cart one makes me laugh! Posted by Nanook at 23:24. There's actually not mu...

A South African in Yellowknife. Saturday, March 31, 2007. The people I fly with. We got together for a picture of all the people who are Dash 7 crew. There's only one flight attendant missing, and a Dash rampie is on vacation, everyone else made it. We also invited the Maintenance guys, but they picked that time to do engine runs, so we couldn't wait anymore. Posted by Nanook at 21:53. Friday, March 30, 2007. An article about Yellowknife. I just came across this. My favourite thing from the dump:. I shou...

Friday, September 29, 2006. Here are a couple of pictures from the sim in Seattle. I did all of my training in the right seat as I am an FO and not a Captain, however I did get to try a bit from the left seat while my Capt was doing his right seat conversion training. It was interesting using the tiller to steer on the ground instead of the rudder pedals. Posted by Quodlibet at 09:32. Wednesday, September 27, 2006. Here Comes The Bride. Is also going in mid October to live so they should have lots of fun!

Wednesday, May 24, 2006. What Muppet Personality are you? You Are Dr. Bunsen Honeydew. You take the title "mad scientist" to the extreme -with very scary things coming out of your lab.And you've invented some pretty cool things, from a banana sharpener to a robot politician. But while you're busy turning gold into cottage cheese, you need to watch out for poor little Beaker! Oh, that's very naughty, Beaker! Now you eat these paper clips this minute.". Posted by Quodlibet at 16:27. Tuesday, May 23, 2006.

Thursday, November 30, 2006. On Tuesday I did a trip from Calgary to High River to Fort St. John to Dawson Creek and then to Smithers where we overnighted. I had hoped it would be nice the next day so that I could get some good pictures of the mountains, but it only cleared up as we neared Calgary on the return. I did get a couple of good ones which I will post. Posted by Quodlibet at 21:46. Wednesday, November 29, 2006. Well, they don't suck until they decide to break! Posted by Quodlibet at 19:56.

Friday, December 29, 2006. Things I liked about exercising:. I LOVE my ipod. I enjoy the quiet when few people are there. The shower after a hard workout is a joy to behold my shower at home may be prettier but there is no show quite so enjoyable as one after a strenuous workout. I enjoy fresh towels which actually cover me, unlike the ones they had originally, no doubt designed for the severely anorexic or exhibitionist. And he was most accommodating regarding this request and seemed somewhat surprised.

Monday, June 26, 2006. This would be the cockpit of the Curtis Jenny, tandem seating, with the simplest instrumentation for the pilot in the front of the plane. This would be the wonderful and sleek Cessna Citation and it's cockpit. Ahhhh the "Jenny", in its complicated simplicity and beauty. Posted by pingcat at 6/26/2006 10:05:00 PM. Thursday, August 31, 2006. Ketchem Up . Sorta. Ketchem Up . Sorta. Anywhoo, Ms. P is healthy although her pupils seem dilated much of the time. We will, as they say, keep an eye on her eyes! Her dental is scheduled for October Gad, worse than kids! This past Saturday Women in Aviation had a major Garage Sale. Our first and there was some really cool things for sale I got a Galileo thermometer. Posted by pingcat at 8/31/2006 04:11:00 PM. Tuesday, August 22, 2006. Gee whiz, where did my youth go? Playing trivial persuit and so on from 9 till we go tired but now we are making applepie. And other eatable things. We had the mailman at our door this morning bringing a parcel from Cowtown Canada! I'm thinking of what to send you guys! I had some cigars sitting on my desk once waiting to be sent to Sean but at a certain moment. The parcel sitting on our dining table. I haven'...
