Thursday, November 27, 2008. Thankful today for so many things. Some shallow, some deep, but still thankful. 14 my favorite jeans. 13 my comfortable bed. 12 wine with a good meal. 9 ipod and dvr (i guess just technology in general). 6 organ donors (random I know, but my Aunt Jenny is waiting for a heart). 5 family and friends. 4 birthmoms who choose adoption. 3 the miracle that is my sweet daughter. 2 my amazing husband. 1 a savior who loves me despite myself. Saturday, May 22, 2010. Several items in my wardrobe get worn over and over again. I do this for the following reasons:. 1 Since I'm a SAHM, my clothing budget is significantly smaller than it used to be. 2 I'm a creature of habit! 3 If I like something and feel confident in it, it becomes my "go-to" item. IPHONEOGRAPHY New Orleans, LA. Yes – with a smooth 30 minutes to spare! Was I at the wrong address? Absolutely. It was a smoldering 96 degrees outside and I was lost – cool. This is when those extra 30 minutes came in handy. A smooth 15-20 blocks later I was still not at my destination. But with the kindness of strangers and Google maps I was able to navigate around the city and see the city in a new light. Maybe not planning your day isn’t so bad…. And tagged big city.
