http://tinymetalmen.blogspot.com/2014/04/i-was-wrong.html
Monday, 28 April 2014. I never thought I'd reach this place. I have derided others who took this path. 20mm plastics . it's great but I still feel dirty. 29 April 2014 at 02:31. If you want a ton of cheap British WW2 plastics, contact me at infoatmorningstar at gmail dot com. You can see what Im getting rid of (among other things) here:. Tiny Metal Men: Aspirational Goals
http://tinymetalmen.blogspot.com/2014/01/aspirational-goals.html
Tuesday, 14 January 2014. I don't normally do New Year's Resolutions, but this year I felt I should list some Aspirational Goals for the year. I'm never going to be able to achieve all of these, but here's what I'd do if time (and money) was no object. The below are in alphabetical order of ruleset. I've always found the concept of this ruleset fascinating, and last year I picked them up in pdf on sale at Wargame Vault. Inspired Weird War 2 as well. I have enjoyed the FoF games I've played to date and I'...

Tiny Metal Men: Printing....
http://tinymetalmen.blogspot.com/2015/03/printing.html
Wednesday, 25 March 2015. A little bit a 3D printer action. First up a Nashorn in 15mm for my brother. The supports for the gun didn't print, so that's a bit wonky looking, and the model as a whole needs a proper clean up. Not too bad though. Next up is a bit of an experiment. I'm not sure I'm happy with them 100% at the moment, but here are some 2mm infantry for a possible Gallipoli anniversary game, or two. And up close (using my phone so the pics are all rubbish). 25 March 2015 at 10:09. Brisbane, QLD...

Tiny Metal Men: Bases Arrive!
http://tinymetalmen.blogspot.com/2014/05/bases-arrive.html
Tuesday, 6 May 2014. Yesterday my package of bases from Back-to-Base-ix. These are several hundred pieces of 3mm MDF in a range of sizes and shapes. Last night I sat down and liberated a sprue's worth of the RedBox Ikko Ikki from their plastic chains and stuck them down on 20mm round bases. A nice fit I think. Tonight's plan is to texture the bases and hopefully undercoat tomorrow. Here is my plan for the WW2 figures:. 20mm round for single figures. 40mm round for prone figures. 7 May 2014 at 01:27.

Tiny Metal Men: Heroics & Ros Confederate Infantry
http://tinymetalmen.blogspot.com/2012/11/heroics-ros-confederate-infantry.html
Monday, 19 November 2012. Heroics and Ros Confederate Infantry. Let me be up front. I know nothing about the American Civil War and I have no (current) interest in gaming it. However some of the H&R Confederates have been recommended as good substitutes for figures in bush hats. I'm not going to pass a verdict on that until I've had a chance to paint some up and see how it goes. I am a big fan of the good variety of poses per strip in these though. This Miniature Life...: April 2007
http://nanoosworld.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Little soldiers and the art of war. Saturday, 21 April 2007. Well in line with a previous post about the subtlety of Tyranids. The patrol has been given its yellow safety armour. No Tyranid will ever get lost on the battlefield ever again. :). This was quite a process. The armour areas were first undercoated with a couple of washes of GW. Bleached Bone. The armour base colour of GW. Golden Yellow was then also painted on in thick- ish. Washes. At least two were required, as well as some touch ups. With b...
