Why am I here? What is it that I'm searching for in this strange place, day after day? Amalthea, The Last Unicorn. Sunday, December 02, 2007. Oh - they just turned the alarm off! Anyways, I climbed down 8 flights of stairs, (we live on the 9th floor), before meeting the office manager and the firemen - it's just a water main break. So . I got to climb back up 8 flights of stairs. What fun! I got back into bed, (at 4:49am), but decided I probably wasn't going to sleep if the alarm was going off.

Hope everyone is having a great long weekend! We didn't have turkey. It's just Miss and I and we had all the veggies associated with thanksgiving along with pumpkin pie! Why am I here? What is it that I'm searching for in this strange place, day after day? Amalthea, The Last Unicorn. Wednesday, September 19, 2007. This past weekend - early on the am on Sunday, the fire alarm went off. Yay. We went to Denny's. Which is where we decided to hide out after the alarm went off in our building. I don't know if there was an actual fire, though the hallway smelled like something woodsy burning. Odd since I sleep through the noise made in the back alley at night and she doesn't.

Lot's and lot's of it. 'Cause apparently all the snow we had before was not enough. So I've got to go and put a thousand layers on so I can walk to school. Why am I here? What is it that I'm searching for in this strange place, day after day? Amalthea, The Last Unicorn. Monday, May 07, 2007. Well folks we're all moved into our new place. It's in a state of disaster, but we're in. And the computer and tv are hooked up so it's livable. The move was stressful and I'd just rather not recount it here. Today I am working on my room. My bed is set up and my clothes unpacked. So I'm going to work on arranging furniture and then putting items on the furniture.

Why am I here? What is it that I'm searching for in this strange place, day after day? Amalthea, The Last Unicorn. Friday, December 29, 2006. The trip here was uneventful (excluding the whole getting up at 3:30am part). Got here and had turkey dinner with pumpkin pie. Then slept a lot. I didn't find anythng, but dad did. We then went to the casino. No one won anything. The downside is the golf course appears to be closed so my dad is driving us crazy. Sunday, December 24, 2006. Enjoy the season everyone!
