Wednesday, February 12, 2014. Little bit of winter, little bit of spring. As much as we love the weather in NC, last spring, summer and fall have been really unusual and there we go, 4 seasons in 1 week. Yes, 8F on Tuesday morning and snow for 1.5 days. Yes, 1.5 days. Then Friday, yay, spring came to town, 66F, long stroll to Bruster's and then to our great playground for an hour of crazy play. The picture below is the following: Top- Tuesday. Living life after losing our first child to Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Wednesday, April 25, 2012. I just wanted to do a quick post about our tattoos that we got recently. I got Hailey's actual footprints made into a butterfly and my husband got a replica of an HLHS heart. Here is the one I got. And here is the one Josh got. We sure miss our little girl! But it feels great to have a part of her with us with our tattoos. By the way, she started walking on new years and has been on the go ever since!

Tuesday, August 16, 2016. We had a really good cardio appointment yesterday. EKG, echo, sound, everything came back great! Tricuspid valve seems to be leaking a little bit less than last year, baffles look great, no blood flow obstruction, no leaks on valves. She got Holter monitor for 24 hours as they try to do every 2 years. Just took it off this morning and will be shipping it back to the clinic this afternoon, but I would not expect anything wrong to show up. To another great year :-). Another cardio...
