Treasures is a memory place. Memories can be a wonderful thing. Saturday, April 25, 2009. Camp of the Woods 1969. In the summer of 1969 we made the first trip to Camp of the Woods near Dryden, Ontario. Missionary Garland Cofield invited us to come for a week of work and missions outreach at the camp. About 20 made that first trip, but the youth group from Calvary returned many times after that first introduction. If you have pictures of other trips please let me know. Gloria Barker all wired up!

This year we decided to go up to the cable cars at Lutsen. You take the cable car to the top of Sawtooth Mountain and can enjoy the view from the lodge at the top. It was breathtaking! We decided that we would like to take friends and relatives up there sometime. It was well worth the $. It is nice being a SENIOR at times like this.

On the trolley headed into Gatlinburg for the day. On Ober Gatlinburg, headed to the top of the mountain. Bryn was a little afraid of the skylift to the alpine sled track. A cool picture of the "Smoky" Mountains! These guys were playing up at the scenic overlook. Lots of fun! The Old Mill in Pigeon Forge.Hence the name Pigeon Forge.
